We had reported earlier that Shahrukh khan's team Kolkata Knight Riders is being used a target practice by the other teams, a sort of warm up before taking on the teams that really matter. A disheartened SRK has left South Africa midway.
I mean for how long can you put on a brave face and give the thums-up sign, as your team gets thrashed in every match! The smile is bound to wear off the face of even an optimist like Shahrukh.
One wonders why he has not cracked the whip like Bangalore Team owner Vijay Mallya did last year even while the tournament was on? The ideal thing would be to sack Buchanan and make Ganguly the sole captain again. After all it is Shahrukh who has doled out the cash to these people. If they don't deliver, off with their heads!
Why is SRK vacillating? Is he, along with Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla too soft to deal with the hard world of IPL?
